incision Stings and pulls 4 weeks post-op-Normal?

I'm new here. Age 46 and in my 4th week recovery from abdominal hysterectomy.

I'm very concerned about stinging and pulling I'm having on the left side of my incision.

I've had quite a time with adhesions which caused my planned vaginal hysterectomy to turn in to abdominal and also caused a hole to be torn in my bladder during the procedure. I'd like to know if pain like this is normal after this amount of time, or if it could possibly be new adhesions from this operation.

I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I am 5 weeks post-op and still get some stinging and burning sensations after my TAH. If I do too much, lift, etc, I REALLY notice it. If it is more than you feel you should be having, contact your Dr. I called twice before I made judgement calls on my own! You aren't alone!!
