something poking?

Hello ladies. Well, I made it through my surgery and everything went well except my doc said she found a rectecele (sp?) while she was sewing me up. I am currently 2 days post op, taking it easy and feeling as good as I possible can right now. My concern is I have this feeling that something is poking inside the vagina, right in the opening. Almost like trying to poke out. I can't feel anything there on the outside. The feeling is on the inside. Kind of a weird feeling. I make a point of not straining when using the bathroom, but I wonder if I have done something wrong. I can pee fine, and there isn't any burning or anything like that. Is this something I should take up with my doc or is this normal following a surgery of this type? Have any of you ladies here experienced this too?
