Painful Sex

I had my TVAH and bladder, rectum and vaginal prolapse repair 9 weeks ago. I was cleared for sex at 6 weeks, but it was and continues to be painful, even with lots of lube. I also bleed afterwards. I'm not on any HRT; I was waiting to see how things went first. How long does it take to get back to normal?

Sister - so sorry to hear your having such trouble. I was cleared at week 6 and didnt experience the same issues you have, but you had alot more done than me. I had LAVH/bladder sling - kept both ovaries. I am sending hugs your way!!!

Thanks! I'm thinking it's more the prolapse repair than anything else.

I would talk to your doc - just to make sure all is ok!

I'm planning on doing that as soon as the office opens today.
