Hi
I have just found this wonderful site and wanted to say Hi to everyone.
I went to see my gynae on the 30th June, I suffer from severe endometriosis, I have tried every treatment there is going, and I told him that I do not want any children - I am 37- and I cannot cope with all the pain and other stuff that goes with the endo, he said that there was a waiting list for Hysts. but he didn't want to make me wait any longer than was necessary, so I am having a total hyst and my ovaries out on 16th JULY!!!
I would love any tips that anyone has

(((((((((Skarlett)))))))))))))),

Welcome to hystersisters !!!!!!!!

WOW you got a fast date for the UK.

I would suggest you learn all you can about hysts.

Knowledge is power.

You may want to start with the pre op and post op articles/hints.

Their links are on the home page, scroll down just a bit, they are on the left side of the page. Tons of useful info and hints.

Please feel free to post any ?s you have. We will try to answer them.

Best wishes,

Pamcat

Welcome

Hi Skarlett,
Welcome aboard! We're glad you found us! I'm glad to hear you were able to get a surgery date soon....I hate waiting for things once I've made up my mind! Like PamCat said, just look around in the pre-op and post-op archives, and you will find soooo much info! We're here to help answer any questions, too.

Just wanted to say "hello".
