I Can Not Believe He Said That!!!!!lol

I spent an enormous amount of time on this site prior to my surgery and in the weeks post surgery...and as the weeks have past and my recovery has thankfully progressed and life is coming very near to normal I now often have only a few late moments to peruse the threads.
I am starting to leave the forums..but I relate strongly to your sentiments of being addicted to the website and at the time before my surgery, was so so grateful to Kathy and company for creating it.
Our DHs and DBs don't know how lucky they are that this website is here for their women to have the support they need. I know I would spend so much time on the website discussing all issues pertaining to hysterectomy and when my husband and kids came home from work and school I could leave it alone and be with them and discuss their days, and not totally burden them with all my surgery concerns because I had gotton it all off my chest with the sisters who were the ones who totally "Got It".

Yes I'm addicted and loving every minute of it. My DH and DS's are like hey look at me, we are still here. Oh well, I hate to say it but it's all about mommy now. I'm the only female in this household. I take care of everyone and I'm looking forward in them taking care of me for a change. I like the idea deal of shopping online. First stop the HysterSister store. That's a good place to start.

I love that (it's all about mommy now). I couldn't have said it better myself! Except I'm afraid that I'm not going to be very well taken care of when I come home from the hospital. I'm not looking forward to leaving the nurses. I'm the only female in this house too. I know it can be tough but at least we have each other to turn to. Also, Dr. called today and I'm having surgery on 8-1 instead of 8-3 now! Sooner the better.
