Re: to get nervous!

How you are feeling is perfectly normal and routine! I can remember that I was. I am almost 8 weeks post LAVH, I had only about a week to prepare, and let me tell you that week was the most anxious of my life! My procedure was all I could talk about, think about. I spent alot of my time preparing for it..moving things around so I could access it better, pre-cooking meals and placing them in individual containers for freezing and easy heating for my family so I wouldn't have to stand over a stove, making a list of concerns to ask my doc, packing and repacking items. Then like a flash it came, and it went, i was home, and healing!
I am wishing you good luck and see you on the other side of the castle!

Re: to get nervous!

Awww...been there. I think my anxiety before surgery was the worse. Each day it got a lil worse. All I could do was think about it...it consumed every moment of my days. Then the day of surgery came. Everything went fast and before I knew it, it was all over. I'm home recuperating. This is day four for me. I had the davinci on the 16th. It has not been a bad recovery at all. Davince is great. I highly reommend it to anyone that is a candidate.
