Anybody got a staple gun ....lol

Ok, I went to the Doc's today and had my staples removed but now I seem to be more worried of my belly falling apart... He did put steri strips on and said leave then on for 7 days and thats that. Everything else is coming alone nicely he said. So A+ for me today

I had my hyst on May 19 and the Dr. took my staples out 6 days later...steri strips went on and I am now at 5 weeks and healed fine. I have a 7-8" vertical incision ending above the belly button and haven't had any problems, but I know what you mean. My fear was what if I sneeze and it opens, etc. As for the sneezing, make sure you hold a pillow there if you can, but as far as the incision, just keep checking it and keep it clean and dry and you should be fine!

Good for you Pumpkin! We had our hysters on the same date! My doc took the staples out but no steri-strips, when I woke up yesterday I felt like my insides were falling out! Spent the whole day in bed and when I was out of bed I had to hold my belly up and still walked haunched over. Today I feel great. Go figure Keep up the good work!!!!

Im glad you are feeling better today, the doc did tell me that becareful when you feel good, sometimes people over due it and have a major set back and of course that was enough to scare me, so Im going to be good you keep up the good work as well....
