finally STARTING to feel like I'm me again

Evening ladies,

I'm over the moon this evening, this is the first time since TAH that I've felt positive and not in pain, it's amazing that I've had one whole day without feeling 90, I've had a few half days but not a full one,

18 days. I've been put back a few times with aftercare issues.

I've been lucky tho, I only had bowel issues one night, and believe me I nearly pulled the handle of the loo door that night, some poor ladies suffer still, I've had two c sections do I understood the issues with bowels, I've managed to avert any problems by taking any meds by mouth with prune juice, been the best decision I ever made. Also, a small stool to pop feet on in loo is great to help.

My appetite is not great still, but no harm, all this lying about creates weight gain which I really can't afford.

Sitting is still best done with belly lying between legs and not on them,

Sleeping, last night I slept 6 WHOLE hours, this was achieved by having pillow between legs and small cushion under belly, luvrly.

I hope everyone is healing well and taking of themselves.

Hugs to all

T

Re: finally STARTING to feel like I'm me again

Isn't that just the best!
Even with the pain and stuff immediately post-op, I started to feel better right away than I'd felt in years and I'm amazed by how quickly I'm returning to my "real" self..... I had not realized how much I missed her and I'm glad we're getting back to being who we really are.

The stiffness and soreness will work itself out as time goes. Just keep listening to your body. Rest when you can. I pray that your return to work is a successful one. Try to take it as easy as you can
