Encouragement for all the LIW

Hey ladies,

I was in the hospital for only just over 24 hours.
Had a TVH and it wasn't nearly as bad as the waiting was honest.

My doc and A man were terrific. I haven't really had much pain at all. Doing well on percocet every five hours or so.

One hint is to get stool softeners and take on or two a day until you start passing gas and poop. This is day two and I still haven't pooped yet.

Overall just tired and need to rest .... getting around pretty darn good though

I'm glad that you are home and doing well. Be sure to drink lots of fluids, rest, and some every day.

When you feel up to it, please post your Castle Story in the Princesses Tell Hyst-Stories Forum and we'll be looking for your posts in the Post-Op forum, too.

I used a stool softener, too, but as always, ladies, be sure to check with your doctor beforehand.

CONGRATS!!!! It is great to be on the other side. Take care of yourself and don't do to much. I felt so good after my TVH I felt like I didn't even have surgery. I agree with the stool softeners I didn't take them in the beginning but if I don't drink enough it hurts to go so I am doing the stool softener just for the comfort I had an androcelle repair and I am wondering if that is why the stool has to be soft I don't want to tear any stitches.UGH!!!
Anyways, take good care of yourself and don't overdo. Rest and take it easy and drink alot of fluids.
