Mini-periods - Kept Cervix, But No Ovaries, No HRT
Two years ago at age 39 I had a sub-total hysterectomy for endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts. I still get "mini-periods" regularly with clots, cramps and backaches. But I just don't understand how I'm still having them when I have no ovaries and don't take HRT. Is this happening to anyone else? Thanks.

That's puzzling. Do you have hot flashes or menopause symptoms? It is possible to have an ovarian remnant left in that continues to function like an ovary, I wonder if there's a chance of that being the case? (you can do a site search for Ovarian Remnant Syndrome) what does your GYN think? I hope you find answers soon.
