Finally

I can finally say that I'm starting to feel good. It's been six weeks since my surgery and way too long to be in pain before the surgery. All I can say is thank god I don't have to do that again ......

For those of you who are just starting this journey, you will feel better soon, I promise.

Thank you! I needed to hear this tonight. I am exactly 1 week post op and in quite a bit of pain between just normal after surgery stuffs and all the trapped gas. For some reason, it started hurting tonight to per as well. :/

It does get better. I was one that was in huge pain afterwards, sometimes I thought it was just because I had low pain tolerance. Sometimes reading about how others were fairing so much better then me became so discouraging but I now know it is because we are all so different, and we all have so many unique things that were done to us, not a one size fits all sort of thing.

One thing that I noticed as I started feeling better is a would start doing more things in the beginning of the day and by the end of it I was in agony, please take everything in baby steps, even if you're feeling on top of the world.
