Cruel Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last time I posted I had said 288 and 0 to go. What a cruel joke! I was not supposed to have another period, and my body knows this. But nooooooooo it had to give me a farewell gift. Its been 2 weeks since my last one, my surgery is in 1 week. What are the odds of me being 2 weeks early? I have already had my tampons on the auction block. Good thing I didn't legally sign them off to one of my sisters. Although I did promise them to one of them, but we didn't sign in blood or anything so I think I'm safe.
Oh well I guess it could be worse. The worst part is I really wanted to get my house extra clean before the surgery. Now I have to suffer in pain and try to get things done...........What a bummer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for letting me vent,

Kris

Cruel Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My aunt flo made her last visit and decided to stay around for a couple weeks and even got super heavy duty the day before surgery. The doc had to kick her to the curb the day of surgery.

I am so happy she's gone for good now. In a few weeks I'll be able to get stuff done around my place that I haven't been able to do since January 1 because that pesty aunt visited almost constantly and didn't help with anything at all. LOL

Cruel Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine showed up on April Fools Day! Which means that it's likely to go on now until my surgery Monday a.m. Just goes to show ya...

Weirdly, instead of the gushing, flooding, cramping that I have come to expect as my "normal" experience, I've just got the drips.

I told one of my girlfriends today that it was like with hair...you know, how sometimes it's driving you nuts, but then after you make an appointment to get it all cut off ,it tries to look OK for a couple of days? I think it's just begging for clemency.

Not a chance.

Cheers, Melissa

Cruel Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My very last period was the WORST ever. I was the sickest I've ever been with it. If I had been having doubts about having the surgery (I wasn't) that experience would have pushed me over the edge. I am sooooo thankful that I no longer have to do the hall-crawl in such abject misery! 34 years of that was quite enough, thank you. I have NO regrets, and I only wish I'd done it years sooner!

(Nearly 6 months post op and feeling great!)

Cruel Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so, my last period was in Feb and landed me in the ER because I was hemorraging and my md put me on birth controll pills. Told me not to take the sugar pills and so I have no periods until surgery and then it is gone for ever . Looks like surgery will not be until next month had a mix up with the specialist my doctor wants to bring in on my case. So I feel for all of you. But I did have a period from he** to last me a life time... just think of the last period I get to remember.
You all take care!

It knows!

Well, I've been having my period 24/7 since September...... that is until a week ago when I finally made my surgery date for May 12. Now, suddenly, I am having no period at all. I think my uterus knows something is up and is now trying to play nice. I must admit it is really bugging me that I am NOT bleeding. Can you even believe I said that! It's still going, I think it's all a big trick. Trying for a stay of execution like someone else said!

Cruel Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it's called Murphy's Law! I got visited early and for the first time in 24 years it only lasted 7 days and no flooding.

There is definitely something weird going on here. LOL

Good riddance Aunt Flo!

Yepperz, I can relate...I have 5-1/2 weeks to go until my castle date, and should have 2 more periods between now and then...I'm having a doozy of one right now and can barely sit up or walk.

Not going to miss THIS part of being a woman ONE BIT!

I'm singing my new goddess/gyn/surgeon's praises...she correctly diagnosed what my previous doctors missed!

Hang in there...we'll all be set free sOOn!!!
