Unexpected benefit of pain meds

Yesterday went from morphine pump to oral percoset.I had complete hysterectomy with abdominal incision. Noticed that while pain is bearable, it's not really gone, no matter what I took. BUT, for the first time in months, I'm 100% pain free in all the areas I have arthritis pain. My knees and hands are perfect. I forgot what it was like to be without pain walking or moving hands! I take Celebrex which I have been off for 3 weeks prior to colonoscopy then surgery, so I was more uncomfortable than usual even though the Celebrex never had me pain free. I'm seriously enjoying this side benefit!
