Left pelvic pain

I've undergone total hysterectomy on the 16 Jan 2014 and I was recovering fine now am experiencing left pelvic pain

Have you had a bowel movement? Descending colon is on the left side...

. Thank u. Ystderday I was so constipated and bloated.

My doctor suggested colace. It was really helpful and not overly aggressive on my sutures like a major laxative might be. Hope you get done relief.

I had left pelvic pain off and on till 3.5 weeks. It usually meant I over did it. It always went away after resting for a day or so.

I've been told it is "bowels settling" into the space vacated by the uterus

It sound scary !! Which means I have to rest as much as possible to facilitate that. I have bn wondering what happens to the space vacated. My ovaies, tubes, cervic were all removed and then ... Yoooh
