anyone experiencing weakness a year+ after?

Good morning, I am experiencing all kinds of problems with my back and neck. I never had this before my hysterectomy. It's been over a year. I recently herniated a disc in my left lower back, which occurred doing the simplest of things, and have had terrible muscle tension in my neck for which I have had an injection. I am very active. I practice yoga 4 to 5 days a week. I also eat pretty healthy. I cannot take hormones. I am on fluoxetine for emotional symptoms and night sweats and anxiety. I just have this unstable weak feeling in my bones. It occurred to me that maybe I should be taking some type of supplements. I am 53 years old. It's baffling to me why our gynecologists don't prepare some type of post-hysterectomy/menopausal type pamphlets to take home for references. There's so much we need to know after hysterectomy and approaching menopause that it's too much to digest even if we are given the info in their offices. Thank you for your time. I hope you are all doing well.

Re: anyone experiencing weakness a year+ after?

YES! Although I have kept my ovaries I suspect they are not fully functioning, if at all. I do not have back problems like you. I just have a general weakness and have noticed a pattern with this depending on the time of month. I write things down now to keep track. I even keep a food log to see if I have any triggers.

Maybe these tips will help you figure some things out too!
