Wooziness in a.m.??

I am noticing that I have to sit on the side of the bed for a little while before getting up in the morning, or I tend to swoon... don't feel dizzy or fuzzy headed---body just feels kind of disconnected from brain. Anyone else???

Re: Wooziness in a.m.??

I had that a little bit throughout the first few weeks of recovery. I would actually get a little nauseaous there for a while. It passes. I'm not sure what the cause is, but maybe it is effects of anesthesia, coupled with the body's efforts to heal. Hang in there!

I am so glad you posted this. Today it was so bad that I threw up all the water I had just drank. It had been like this since I came home. What is it?

Re: Wooziness in a.m.??

I have dizziness, nausea, and just an all around "not quite right" feeling on and off all day long! I wish this would just go away-it's driving me nuts!

Your surgery was about 1 week before mine-hopefully we'll both get to feeling better real soon!

Re: Wooziness in a.m.??

Maybe it's the stress and shock your bodies have gone through with the surgery, anethesia, and the pain meds. Hope you feel better soon. I'm not woozy, just tired with no energy.

Re: Wooziness in a.m.??

Hi Princessess!

I would say a lot of the nausea, dizziness, wooziness has to do with the combination of anesthesia and heavy duty pain meds. Morphine can do that. I had the same problem for awhile, but as time passes and weaning myself off Percocet, I have been feeling much better.

Happy Healing!!!
