2 wks post-op

2 wks post-op today, feeling good, sleeping better with the aid of a soft pillow to prop against my stomach. Notice that belly swells at night probably due to the feeling better doing more routine. Moved here 4 yrs ago, so all family and friends are back east. Here in Alberta roads/sidewalks are icy so try to walk around house. Stairs are much easier though get breathless after. Eating healthy, lots of fiber, water, fruits and veggies. Eating light is the key to better bm and overall health. Going to get some work brought home next week as no one is replacing me, so all my work is piling up. Due to the large 14cm fibroid and enlarged 20 wk uterus, I feel so much better, no more pressure, bathroom runs and best of all no more heavy periods. Can't wait to start exercising and getting back to life.
Wishing all the best to all my sisters for a speedy recovery, remember one day at a time!
