11 weeks post op, pain.

Last nite when I laid down for bed, I shifted and OW> the left side of my incision slightly above is soo sore. It's not something I noticed before, and it's still sore this morning. Anyone have this problem?

Re: 11 weeks post op, pain.

I would have it checked out if it continues to be a problem, as it has been several months since your surgery and you should not be having pain.

Re: 11 weeks post op, pain.

Thanks PJS....Im feeling better. Called Doc and she seemed completely not worried. She says. "you're still healing, what have you been doing?" needless to say, I didn't answer that, because I'm one to push myself til I got nothin left. Thanks for your concern, the pain is pretty much gone now. took 2 days on the couch tho.

so glad you checked in with your doctor...also glad you took it easy
We have to really work on taking care of ourselves and it is hard to focus on just us, there are always so many other things to do, right?
I am so glad your pain is gone. Take it easy

Re: 11 weeks post op, pain.

Try to remember that adhesions don't usually present symptoms until months or years later. They are brought on usually by overdoing. They cause a lot of chronic pain and the only way to treat them is by another surgery, which usually causes new adhesions to form there. Take care.
