less than 24hrs to go

Hi Ladies,
I found this site months ago and have read many stories. I am so glad we have this site to get support from experienced woman.
I knew years ago that my uterus was falling down. I just didn't know how old I would be when the choice to have the hysterectomy would come. I am 37 yrs. old, married, with 3 great sons ages 18, 16, & 13.
My uterus is giving my bladder and rectum a lot of pressure and I can't wait to get this done. I am a workaholic and it is going to be very hard to sit. I house clean for a living, do a paper route with my 16 yr old and all the MOM duties. My guys know they are in for a lot of "taking care of Mom" and I trust they will do a great job. My DH is staying home with me my first week and then he will work with me the week I go back to work. I plan on recovering for 5 weeks. I am self employed (loosing the income can add up) and this was the only week for my DH to take a vacation week. I pray I heal with no problems.
Tomorrow I am having a TVH, keeping my ovaries and my bladder will be having repair, wrap and tuck so it is held back up. I have to come home with a catheter for a whole week. Yuk!! My doctor says I should be able to go home in 24 hrs. I know it's fast but if I am not up to it I will tell him. I love my doctor, he is a real sweetie and I trust him totally. He delivered my first two sons. He is a very caring man, I am very lucky. Today he wants me drinking and resting ALL day.
I am nervous but will be glad to get this done and be on my way to recovery. I thought I was going to get a spinal for anesthesia but changed my mind to general. I do get sick so I will make sure they give me something. That seems to be my worst fear, but I get back spasms and thought maybe I shouldn't do the spinal. I can't wait to be fully recovered.
Thanks ladies and hope to hear from some of you.

Jace!!!!

Is that your real name??? I am curious because my son's name is Jace! He was named after a Norwegian skier during the 1984 Olympics (DH and I jsut couldn't agree on anyhting else!). Anyhow, it is the first time I've seen it other than attached to my son! Anyhow, I hope you have a quick recovery and PLEASE don't try to do too much!!!!!!!
