Stretch marks changing

Okay, so I am about six months out in my recovery, and I happend to look at my belly in the mirror the other day. My stretch marks that have always been white, now have a deep red tint to them. Why? Anyone else have that happen?

I have the same thing although I am only 4 weeks post op. I know they have gotten a little wider and I am attributing the redness to the fact they are healing now that they are bigger due to swelly belly.

I am one of those fortunate ones that never got stretch marks during my 3 pregnancies (anyway on my belly but my behind looks like a road map LOL). Would you believe it...I've now got a couple of them on each side of my incision (bikini cut)? Also my 21 year old tubal scar under my belly button has widened and is very sore under it. I'd say the redness would be typical but you may want to ask your dr in any case.
