Feeling all alone

I am not one to be like this but I am feeling down. I had my Hyst on 9-11 but since I had another surgery 10-29 I feel like I don't fit in anymore. I am not recovering with the others who share my date but I am not a newbie either. I am in pain and I want to cry. I am worried that I will get hooked on my pain meds since I had to start them so soon after my 1st surgery. Sorry this sounds like a pity party cause it is. I am just sad cause my rad treatments got pushed back also so I am scared about that too. I guess I just needed to vent. I pray everyone has a pain free day.

Vent away, we all go through it differently. As long as you are taking the meds prescribed for pain as told to by your doctor addiction is not going to happen.

Pity parties are allowed.

Have you started a journal yet? I love journaling here.

Feeling all alone

Vent away! I had a big whine the other day as I ended up back in hospital last Wednesday. It's the frustration that was driving me crazy. Now I feel like a wimp cus I've watched 2 movies and one tv show in the past 24 hours that have left me a crying fool!

Remember, there's always chocolate!

Feeling all alone

Sorry to hear about your set back no wonder you are feeling low. What you are feeling is completely normal and you are certainly not alone with those feelings. This site was a huge support for me after my operation when the blues hits. Take each minute, day and hour one step at a time. You will always fit in here even when the rest of the world feels like some alien place.
Take good care of yourself and know that you are in our thoughts.

Janelle....

My heart goes out to you today...... and you are definitely not alone. You're entitled to a pity party- especially one with venting and crying as that helps release all of that built up tension that you're experiencing.

Evidently frustration is a part of this healing process -even for those of us without complications.

Praying for you now and asking that your day will start to get brighter... and that you'll feel so much better in the coming days as your recovery becomes more and more complete.

Take care of you.....

Feeling all alone

Dinkum, thank you for the prayers. I know God is taking care of me and everything will be fine. I just get emotional like everyone else I guess. I have been praying and reminding myself to be thankful. It could be a lot worse. Thanks again.

Dearest Janelle,

My goodness you have been through a lot. After I read your post of having to go back into surgery that must of been very difficult. I can truely understand you feeling the way you do. God will be with you. Trust in him. He comforts me in the worst times. I will keep you in my prayers. If you ever need a ear to listen we are all here. God Bless you. Kathy
