I'm so dizzy, my head is spinning!! :)

I am hoping for some response before I go to dr. at 2:30. For the past week I have been lightheaded. It's gotten worse over the weekend. As long as I am still, I'm ok, but the least movement and I feel like I'm gonna pass out. I am 4 weeks this past thurs. I had a problem with BP a while back but it has been lots better! My husband checked it Sun. and was really high. Not sure what's going on. Could it be estrogen related? I am on the patch. Any suggestions or questions I may can ask doc? Please help!

It could be your BP playing up again, or it could be hormone related high BP.

If you have had probs in the past, it can come back. I would make sure your Dr takes a BP reading.

I would also check the information on the Hormones you are taking incase this is one of the side affects and asked your Dr if it could be Hormone related.

Sorry I can't think of anything else.

Check all meds. Hormones cause dizziness and faintness. Is that what your lightheaded feeling is like? Still on pain meds? I'm sure your doctor will make some changes until your BP is really off.
Best of luck, and let us know what you find out.

Sound like Tanis and I are thousands of miles away...but are on the same page!

I'm so dizzy, my head is spinning!! :)

That was my main question, if it could be hormone related. The dr. has kept a check on BP, I've had to go in every 2 weeks. The BP reading has been great...ex..120/80! BUT ...Sun. it was 160/120 I really debated going on HRT, I explained all my concerns to the doc. ahead of time, she felt it best to try it. I hear pros and cons of the med. I'm just ready to get back to my old self. I'm tired of being tired, and now this! AND most importantly, I ready to be with my sexy husband! AND scared it won't be the same as before or he may be nervous that I'm different. Boy, I sure have a lot of concerns, huh. Oh well...I keep shruggin on...Thanks hyster sisters!!

I've had a little bit of a problem. I'm on HRT but were thinking it's actually food related. As I'm doing more I'm needing to eat more. My blood pressure dipped way down after surgery but has stabilized at 120/80 again. I had mentioned it to my doc. He didn't seem overly one way or another about it. Let me know what your doctor says - should be interesting.
