Tighter underwear=more bleeding??

Ok before the surgery I was wearing a size 7 under. After I wore a size 9 for about 7 days then I was finding they were just too uncomfortable to wear, they were too baggy and just didn't feel good when needing to wear a pad or panty liner.

So I tried switching back to my size 7. For the most part they feel fine. I have a small hematoma under my incision site from my TVT sling which the size 7 irritates on occasion but other than that the size 7 feels much more comfortable. But I am noticing that I am having a little more spotting the last couple of days. My nurse did say that when the hematoma started to resolve it could resolve by going through the vagina and cause bleeding so the spotting could be from that but I wonder if the spotting could be from the tighter underwear? Anyone have any input?

I have thought about going out and buying size 8's but I hate to spend the extra money one larger sizes when the size 7's feel fine. For those of you that have been there, done that, what do you think?

The spotting is completely normal, not only from resolving hematoma, but also, just from the healing--unless it's new, bright red blood, or very heavy, in which case you should call your DR. Underwear snug or loose does not affect that at all, only your comfort.
