scar tissue tear

Hi
I stretched to reach a high shelf a week ago (day 14) and felt a searing pain in my left side. Since then I have been in pain every time I move. I emailed my doctor and she thinks I have torn scar tissue and recommended anti-inflammatory and pain drugs. I was feeling so strong up till then but now I spend most of the day in bed and when up, often can't walk without intense pain.
Does anyone know much about scar tissue? Does it take long to repair? I seem to be recovering much slower than straight after my TAH.

It can take up to 2-3 months for scar tissue to heal, so sorry you having issues!! Hope you get to feeling better soon!! TAKE IT EASY!!
