Re: suggestions anyone?

Are you still having pain in your thigh? If so, it's not wise to wait until morning. If you do have a clot, a piece could break off and travel to your lung, where it could be fatal. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but it's that serious.

Re: suggestions anyone?

I agree with Catherine. If you tell them that you recently had a hysterectomy, they will get very busy with you in a hurry. That is what happened with me when I went in for a minor infection. Please go to the ER as your life can depend on it!

Re: suggestions anyone?

Well, got back from my appt. and a good/bad one! The clot is 5 cm and 2 cm arond and i lokked at her like Wow! and she was like not too big. she hesistaes to do another surgery because it hasn't even been 6 weeks ago, 1 partial hysterectomy and 1 internal bleeding. She did an internal and quite painful! She is worried another surgery would cause more bacteria and etc.. No ulralsound done, not good, i thought I do not think fast on my feet, and wish my hubby was there! She was like no fever or bleeding and thinks this could be the pain could be from post-op healing, the cyst on my ovary, the fact the clot is swollen. I told her to end this pain and go in, but she wants me back in a week to an ulralsound. She did do blood work! Fianlly wise there. I am just lost here! I see the waise approach, but I feel my pain though! any thoughts/ will call to get my blood work around 2 to see what my numberes are? Never went to the Er! Apparently this clot is one that won't travel to places. I forgot to ask for better pain meds! Do not work well in pain. Wish Science had easy answers! I wait!! I can't afford to go to another doc eithier!

Re: suggestions anyone?

I am glad you got back to us but I am sorry you have such bad news. I would suggest that you get back on the phone and tell her that you forgot to ask what to do about the pain.
