breast size

I had LAVH LSO dec. 10th. I have noticed my breast size has decreased. Is this normal???
I am enjoying reading all the threads on this site and all info has been very helpful.

Thank you

Re: breast size

I am pretty sure it's normal. My doc told me that the hormone change can affect breast size. Mine got slightly larger. I would mention it to your doc to be sure though.

Re: breast size

All of my bras are now loose too. I kept my ovaries, haven't had any signs that they are sleeping or in shock. I've lost a very little amount of weight, but my breasts are definitely smaller.

Re: breast size

drop in estrogen decreases breast size.

I have one that seems smaller - yay for me.

Don't be afraid to bring this stuff up to the Dr. at follow up appts.

Re: breast size

Ah sheesh! I'm flat to begin with! (Thin hair, too.) Why can't we lose it where we want to lose it????

Still, all worth it.

Re: breast size

went to my GP today. mentioned the breast issue along with my lack of sleep. stepped on scale and lost 10lbs in 2weeks and he doesn't seemed concerned over lack of estrogen. even though insomnia, headaches, hot flashes are symptoms of low estrogen. seeing obgyn in 2 weeks.

keep well everyone

Re: breast size

Mine have gotten smaller and heavier - yes, DH checked it out to be sure

I haven't lost a bit of weight though I eat much less than I used to. My appetite definitely hasn't returned!

Insomnia is my constant friend. It's 12:45 a.m. and I'm on-line...what doe THAT tell you?????

I had TVH with bladder sling....kept ovaries.

Oh well...I don't mind smaller breasts too awfully much, but I would have rather had smaller thighs.
