post op bleeding

Anyone else surprised at how little blood there was after surgery? I had a vaginal on the 13th and I was expecting to see at least some spotting. Doc said I may have some spotting when the stitches from the vag cuff fall out. I've had more blood during one of my periods. Funny thing is I keep looking at the toilet paper expecting to see something.

Re: post op bleeding

That was one of my biggest surprises too. I expected a lot of bleeding, but there was almost none. I'm almost 3 months post op and I've never had to wear a pad or liner. It's pretty nice.

Re: post op bleeding

I have been very pleasantly surprised by the lack of blood. Only 2 days post op but not a drop so far, hope it stays that way.

Re: post op bleeding

I didn't have any bleeding until now, 5 1/2 weeks post op and its a light tinge pink when wiping. Calling gyno in the morning.

I had the same thing at about the same time. Only lasted a few days. I've read it's normal,

Re: post op bleeding

I experienced the same thing, very light spotting a few days during the second week at home. It only lasted a few days and then it was gone.
