Upcoming hysterectomy Sept 5th: unsure about ovary aged 54

Yes I have the excess fat as well. I was in weight lifting and always a big strong girl but my mom has or two after total hysterectomy in her 40's and no ET so I still worry. The cognitive part also worries me along with heart disease. Already went through the worst of hot flashes. Can't imagine it any worse then they were. So you opted too keep one and had second procedure to remove it is what I'm concluding? I don't have cancer and none in family so that is why a question keeping one.

Sorry, I wasn't clear---I had the first ovary removed at age 25 due to a ginormous cyst!
