TAH: Hysterectomy 5 days away (4/1) and everyone around me is getting sick!!

My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, the 1st and it seems like everyone around me is getting colds. Any tips on staying healthy so I don't have to reschedule? Thanks ladies! ❤️

I was worried about that too!! it's hard this time of year to stay healthy.. all I can say is I really stayed away from people that were sick if I could and I washed my hands constantly.. not much you can do.. good luck!

im recovering from bronchitis and my surgery is in 12 days. Plenty of fluids coming into this body and thinking positive.

Thanks ladies! I'm always washing my hands as it is but I'm washing them even more...and taking vitamin C. Fingers crossed, I am SO ready to get this done and over with!!

Handwashing is your number one defense. And stay away from people you know are sick.

Wash your hands often. Do not touch your face. This was the advice given to me by a Dr. about avoiding getting the flu--I am not allowed to get the flu vaccine. Good luck to you! Mine has been rescheduled once due to Dr. being unable to make it and it sucks, just want this whole thing started.

I'm scheduled on Monday. Guess who came home sick today, yup DH.
