These last few hours are the worst

I'm 9 hours from my trip to the castle and as ready as I can be. Kids are taken care of, meals prepared, packed etc,etc,etc. I'm exhausted...so why the heck can't get to sleep. I can't wait for this to be all over with. I'm mentally, physically and spiritually prepared. I even have husband "taken care of". If I can just fight of this anxiety than I'll be okay...thanks for letting me ramble. I get that way when I'm nervous.. Talk to you all when I get home from the castle...I promise to be a good princess!!!!

it seems like just yesterday I was laboring through my last few hours before my trip to the castle, let me tell you for all the worrying I did before, once it was done, wow, was it worth it!

I agree, the night before was the worst, I barely slept a wink! But like it was said, tomorrow night at this time it will all be over!!! What a relief feeling that is!!!! Sounds to me like you have everything taken care of. Honestly, the whole experience tomorrow will go fast--at least it did for me, before I knew it, I was getting "set up" and then once they gave me some drugs to calm me, I don't really remember anything! The next thing I knew, I was in recovery waking up!! So I'm sure it will go that smoothly for you. Be thankful that you found this site before your surgery to help you! Unfortunately I didn't find it until after mine-- I would have loved to have had this support beforehand, but at least I have it now (and love it!) Best wishes to you zanylynn

Hey there Penny,I wish you swift surgery and recovery. If you can not sleep you may want to run a few laps around the house, do your sommersaults, wake hubby up and attack him cause it will be a little while before you can do any of this, that is if you are planning on being a good PRINCESS which I know you are.
