Friday's Appointment

I went to see Dr. Friday. She stated that she is going to put me on Lupron to see if it would lessen the pain a little bit. She stated that she will try it for 3 to 6 months, but wants me to continue to lose weight. She stated that she really wants me to lose a little weight before she does the hysterectomy. At this point I am willing to try anything just to help ease the pain :eyes: . The only problem (she says it like its no big deal) is that the Lupron enhances your appetite queit a bit and all you want to do is eat. Now how does she expect me to lose and she's putting me on meds to make me eat I guess that means lots of fruit. At this point what else is there for me to do. I just wish she would say come on lets schedule your date for you hysterectomy. If any body know's anything regarding this medication please let me know.

Can't help much. I did two rounds of the Lupron at six months each. I never noticed an increase in appetite. Try to keep busy and keep healthy foods in the house both for meals and snacks. Best of luck to you!
