Snowmobiling at 4th week Post Op
Okay - so my daughter says I am crazy and will regret it. I had a vag hysterectomy on Jan 2. Feeling great. Have a chance to go snowmobiling tonight at a groomed trail. I will be a passenger and not driving. Am I crazy?

nicely groomed and NO major bumps...if your carefull, your probably O.K. but Be Careful! You only get 1 chance to heal.

Hmmmm
I had an abdominal hysterectomy and would not have dared do any thing like that for at least 4 months!
How much do you trust the driver, if you say stop I want to get off can you?
Please let us know what you decide & if, you go, how it was.

They have promised me they would take it easy and somebody would go before our sled. Haven't snowmobiled since I was 10...this should be interesting.

I would check with the doctor first. There's always the chance of a spill, and that wouldn't be a good thing. Accidents happen. I wouldn't have been able to do this at 4 weeks post op.
