3 weeks post hysterectomy: Squishy Belly and Soreness.

I hope you ladies aren't getting tired of me. Lol. I hope everyone is getting rest and healing properly. I am 3wks post op. I had a large fibroid removed that was over 6 lbs that expanded my uterus to the size of a 30wk pregnancy. I feel my stomach is actually bigger now and it's really squishy. When I wear my pants, it's like everything gathers at the bottom and it looks like a big pouch. My incision is also painful from time to time. Can anyone relate? I know about exercises and kegels are out. I just want to know if I'm the only one and is this temporary.

Have you tried a belly binder? It dose work. Also, try an ice pack, to reduce some of the swelling. You did not say what type of procedure you had.

I have an ice pack on now plus my belly binder. 9 week post-op, abdominal (bikini) cut everything out, and I still have some pain and swelling.
