Four weeks and trying to do more

Have gotten the ok to start doing more as in working and exercising. So anyway, I drove out of town for the week-end - 2hrs. - with my mom to stay with my sister and play with my niece. Walked for 15min. in their neighborhood. Went to church for the first time and worked some Monday.I didn't think I was doing so much really. I think I kind of forgot since I was sleeping and playing at my sisters that it doesn't mean you just go and do anything you want.
I have not wanted to do anything yesterday and today. I did get out to go to the store today and other than that stayed at home. I am having to work on sleeping and not being irritable when I don't sleep. So are some of you sisters doing this. Having days where it seems you do whatever you want then days when you are still on the couch watching tv.

I was trying to get out a little then I started a passing out thing. SO I am back on total restriction. Today is a bad day for me I feeling like taking a pain pill but trying to wait until bedtime. I think it is funny when I first wake up it is like hey I think I feel pretty good. Then 2 hours later I am like I feel like crap. My sofa is my new best friend I send a lot of time on it. Oh and I absolutely hate insomnia makes me very grumpy.

Definitely - this was the first day I went anywhere since being released from the castle 7/6.
I had my 2 week post op (went very well) and I was given permission to drive (carefully). My son & I went and got a sandwich at a favorite restaurant this afternoon (1 mile away).

I'm tired this evening.

I know I will need to build up my endurance before returning to work, so I plan to ease back into activities slowly. Will continue to rest, walk some, etc the next two weeks, and then the next two after that will work on getting back into my regular waking schedule, driving longer distances, more housework, etc.

Taking my healing a day at a time. This site keeps my mind active and I get called from work occasionally which keeps me in the loop there. TV is starting to get BOOOOOOORING. I've been reading a lot also. I'm a big eBayer too but trying not to spend a lot of money I don't have !!!
