stressed out

My mom and dad traveled to see me before surgery. We talked in the waiting room, the I went into the room to get ready for surgery. Hubby was with me of course and Mom went into the room after I was in my gown and IV etc. She was there to hug me and talk to me. SO NICE. They bought me a darling stuffed animal to hug when I woke up! That was so precious. Then she and hubby and Dad waited there during surgery.

Then, when they heard from the doctor that I was out of surgery and OK, Mom and Dad drove home. She knows it is best to be there and then leave. Hubby stayed all day and night of course. That worked great.

My "who is coming to stay delima" was solved for me.. Thank God. First my sister was coming, but she wanted to bring her cat. First of all I don't like cats, and second, I have a new apartment with all new furniture, and don't want it scratched or scented. Then a friend from out of town was going to come, she planned on bringing her sister. Sorry but I don't want somebody in my place I don't know, and would feel like I had to entertain her. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. My sister is coming for my surgery (without the cat) and staying until I get out of the hospital. My favorite Aunt (bless her heart) called and informed me (Aunts have a way of doing that) she would be coming the Sunday after my surgery and would stay until she felt I was well enough to make it on my own.
