Now the 29 th is the day my life changes, I hope! (Update)

Well... I am doing my best to remain upbeat. My surgery (full davinci hyst w/removal of ovaries & cervix due to masses found) was moved to next Tuesday because my insurance still had the approval in review. It's difficult to understand when in pain. But I hope the reason is that someone else is able to get the help they need today.
It's tough because I am unable to work do to pain. But I am using this time to reflect on what's happening, to find what peace I can in this situation.
Thinking of all who are going through it today!! Hugs!! 😉

Oh Chili fan, I'm so sorry you have to wait longer. Is there any medication the doctor can give you for the pain? These insurance companies sometimes...I wish there was a way for you to expedite the approval esp. with the pain factor.

My doc has been great in giving me pain meds but not much is helping. 😞 They also make me sleep all day lol! Which has been nice when you hurt so much!

Oh I so feel for you! I'm so sorry! I had mine scheduled in June but have to wait until December because of our insurance company. It's hard to fight the "funk" when it gets pushed but hang in there! And if the pain meds aren't enough open a bottle of wine.

Very stressed.... Insurance has still not approved my surgery. I have a feeling they are putting it off because on November 1st my company goes to a new insurance plan. I have been in intense pain and have missed tons of work. I am still hoping they pull through for next Tuesday. Hugs to all going through this!! 💜

Surgery approval finally

Good news! After several hrs and many phone calls my doc and staff fought hard to get my surgery approved for next Tuesday... It was originally set for last Tuesday but they would not approve it... My doc said they were trying to push it back again today... So grateful that I have a date... But now my nerves are setting in a bit 😁
Good luck to all facing this issue!!
