Re: returning to work

If you have to go back and there is no way they will extend your leave, get a written note from your doctor stating that you are on restricted activity and it is recommended until week 8 or so, and you will return but you must return in a wheelchair. So only do what you can from a wheelchair. They can't order you to walk around can they?

Re: returning to work

Get a note from your doctor. The worse thing to do is go back early which could cause complications which could then lead to being out of work even longer! There should be some information regarding FMLA either here on this site or directly through the FAMILY MEDICAL LEAVE ACT website. Hope you are dong well, take care of yourself hope your recovery goes well.

Re: returning to work

I did have a note from my surgeon, that is what i don't understand. I don't want to use MY regular leave for a medical issue. what makes it even worse for me is i work in the clinic where the doc is saying 2 weeks.
heck i'm having a hard enough time on day 2 to keep worring about my job.
thank you so much for your support.
