Bleeding in belly button incision post op 12 days
Hi,
I am new here and have had pain and daily blood discharge from the incision made around my belly button. A piece of the glued cord dislodged, but I have alot of soreness and still small amounts of bleeding that needs the coverage of a small bandaid. Is this normal and how long can it last?? My surgery was on Jan 12th.

Please have your doctor check your incision. Some take a lot longer to heal but you also might be dealing with an infection if you have pain. Better safe than sorry. Let us know what you find out.
