three weeks out , is this normal?
I'm three weeks post op and I've just started spotting. I only spotted the day I had the surgery and then nothing until today. I had a complete hysterectomy so could this be the stiches disolving where the cervex used to be? Is this normal? Should I be calling my Dr or just grin and bear it?
TIA

three weeks out , is this normal?
I spotted the day of and one day after surgery. I then quit for 4 days and began again and spotted until the 4th week. I would think this is normal, but I always say it's better to make that quick call to the doc and ask...just for peace of mind. It should not be heavy and bright red. Mine was light pinkish/light red, and then got the rest of the time yellow/brownish.
Good luck and call for peace of mind.

I spotted the day of and two days after my surgery, then started spotting again two weeks later and am still spotting. It is a light pink color. If you have any questions you should definately call your doctor. It never hurts to check with them. That's what they're there for. Good luck and I hope you get the answers you need.
