What to wear home from the hospital?

I was just wondering, what to wear when leaving the hospital, should I just leave with a robe on, or get dress? I'm going to be able to put pants on (loose ones), what did you ladies leave the hospital with, and for those like myself which are waiting to go to the hospital, what are you thinking of leaving with? thanks,
blessings,

What to wear home from the hospital?

Hi! I left the hospital with lounge pants and a sweatshirt, but I live in CT and didn't want a coat. Also, if you don't get a "belly pillow" in the hospital, have one in the car for when you leave. Mine is about 10 inches long, 5 inches wide and made of polar fleece. Works wonders for seatbelts, coughing, laughing, and sleeping! Good luck and God Bless!

What to wear home from the hospital?

I wore the same fleece jammie bottoms and a cotton jammie top (too much fleece and I might burn up ) to and from the hospital. I also wore my new purple Hippo slippers (the helped me get them on.

A friend bought me 2 micrfiber pillows and I used the smaller one under the seatbelt.

What to wear home from the hospital?

I threw myself a pre-op shopping trip before my surgery. I bought myself all sorts of goodies (a couple of books, two small pillows, Gas X, chocolate, and a few new PJs) for my recovery. One sets of PJs I bought was a solid color, so I wore them home - I figured from a distance they'd look like a matching shirt and pants set. It was perfect - I got home and plopped right into bed; didn't have to do a thing.

What to wear home from the hospital?

I wore a sleep shirt that says I will rise but I will not shine, and my fuzzy slippers. I also had my tummy pillow for the seatbelt. If you have a TAH don't forget that.

What to wear home from the hospital?

I'm planning on following some tips from this site and wear the same thing home that I'm going to wear to the hospital. I'm going to wear a loose sundress and croc-like clogs that are soft and fuzzy on the inside.

What to wear home from the hospital?

I wore my most comfortable pajamas and my slip on crocs home. I had planned to wear the same thing I wore to the hospital, but didn't feel like dealing with my bra, etc. The street the hospital is on is under construction and really bumpy so I was really glad I had my tummy pillow. I still use a very small squishy pillow under the lap part of the seat belt.
