Preparing for surgery in one month

So my surgery is Nov.18, any tips since I have a month to prepare? I am eating clean (mostly vegan), drinking water, going on long walks with DH, and spending way too much time on this site! Waiting is hard!

My TAH is November 12 I want to know the something's oh and I am scared

All of us pre-op sisters are scared. Just gotta have faith in God and our docs. We will be stronger, healthier women in the end!

It will be here before you know it. I went into cleaning mode. Even shampooed the family room carpet knowing I would spend a lot of time in there during my recovery. Stocked up things we would need for at least a month. I will be 11 weeks post op tomorrow and I am doing very well. I am so glad not to have the monthly pains. My doctor told me at my follow up that I made the right decision to have a hysterectomy. He said there was so much going on inside of me that he didn't even expect was there. More growth after an exploratory surgery in Feb. Best wishes to you all!

Clean clean clean! You won't be able to clean in awhile.
I stayed away from venues where there might be a congregation of germs, like movie theaters. I was NOT going to get sick!
