Hi I'm a new member!

My surgey is finally over! I had a LSH on July 23 and I feel better than ever! I'm 4 days post op and I have no pain. I suffered from fibroids, endo/ adeno for several years and decided to have a hyster. I know I'm still healing and its probably too early to say that this is the best decision I have made but its true! I pray my post op continues to be happy healing and thanks to all the sisters on this site without your support/ encouraging words I would be lost!

Re: Hi I'm a new member!

No it's not too early to say that.. even with some issues I'm having on my journey I still am glad I went through with this surgery. I was on a bad road that would have eventually ended me in emergency surgery.. I hope you'll continue doing well .. The ladies here have been such a blessing .. They make my heart grow 4 sizes every day. Lol.
Best wishes to you.. :-)

Re: Hi I'm a new member!

I'm so happy to hear that you are doing well! I felt immediate relief after my surgery too. Not to be a downer, I just want you to realize that a lot of women feel a little worse at around 3 weeks when stitches start dissolving, and they get achy and crampy. It's usually a temporary condition, but I didn't want you to be surprised and feel down about it. Please take it easy even though you are feeling well. That's often the most difficult part. Happy Healing!
