LAVH 4 weeks post hysterectomy: belly button discharge

I am almost 4 weeks post op & started having white milky discharge from my naval incision. Its very tender. Anyone know what this might be

It sounds like it might be infected, especially if it's painful. I'd put a call in to the doctor.

Saw resident she sais superficial better out then in but no antibiotics..second opininon?

My only worry be the pain that goes with it, I think i'd get a second opinion. :/

I also think it is infection hopefully superficial. Is the tissue glue or sutures still there? I had infection at 3 weeks, was given antibiotics 5 days. Ab worked but infection came back cause glue was still there and bacteria can live on glue. Had to remove glue and treat wound daily with small amount of peroxide on a q tip. It worked for me. Good luck.
