Hysterectomy:

Adenomyosis and PCOS options

I was recently told I have adenomyosis and PCOS. My doctor has mainly focused on the adenomyosis and wants to do an ablation. She also gave me the option to continue birth control for the bleeding or have a hysterectomy but she would leave my ovaries. I understand that having my ovaries removed would not cure PCOS but I've had 3 cysts rupture in the last 5 years and while that may not be significant it is a pain I don't want to suffer ever again. I'm curious if any of you have had similar issues and what your opinions are. Thank you.
