Stitches

I have a questions. What do the stitches look like in pad? sorry if TMI but am curous have had bleeding since 26th of feb., has lightened up but have noticed dark spots on couple of pads wondering if stiches. The bleeding was do to blood or fluid bubbles or pockets. Pelvic exam and ultra sounds every week since surgery to watch them, last week doctor said about 1/3 left to go before they are gone. Said he would also let me go back to work part time after app. tomarrow.
Hope everyones recovery is going well. Thank you for any responses in advance.

Stitches

Not all stitches are the same--there are various materials available. And we don't always see our stitches. Many of them dissolve. I never saw any of my stitches from my hyst. Hopefully someone who has seen their stitches will come along and share. Best wishes to you!

Stitches

I saw about three stitches, sort of beige in colour and tiny on the pad. They were not what I expecting and can't help thinking I must have missed some! Surely there were more than three?

How long after surgery did your stitches dissolve? Did you feel any different while they were dissolving or afterwards?

Stitches

I saw the stitches on the panty liner at just after six weeks- just when the doc said they'd come out. I didn't feel any different at all but I did notice that the discharge had been getting much less, it wasn't much anyway. It was getting clearer too. After I saw the stitches within a very few days it stopped completely.
