I started back doing Bikram yoga 6 weeks post vag hyst and TVT. I felt like I could have went earlier but waited another week after the OK because Bikram is like extreme yoga. I have gone to Yoga 6 times in the last 2 weeks and it feels great!

Amazing I saw my OB/GYN today and she said Yoga would be good for me. She said in one to two more weeks to give it a try. I have trouble with IBS, hot flashes, insomia. I had a TAH 5 weeks ago. So that be 6-7weeks she is saying it ok to start. She did say stretching, gentle nothing real strengthening at that point. Maybe I will try it...

I have never done yoga, but would like to try cuz I am sadly out of shape after all the months of not exercising cuz of pain.

Can anyone recommend a good yoga video that I could do at home to get started?

Thanks!

There is a really good video, called AM/PM yoga. It's definately great for beginners or someone getting back into exercising, it's relaxing and shouldn't pull to much and you can pick and choose what moves you want to do compared to your pain factor.

That's what I plan on doing anyhow..
