window washing

Ok, all of us obsessing ladies in waiting

When you do wash your windows try putting a little bit of Jet Dry in your window washing solution. They seem to clean faster and have fewer streaks.

It rains an awful lot here in the fall and winter, we get 65 inches normally so the windows always need cleaning.

Like this is totally off the subject, but I know I am not the only one who will be cleaning windows and waxing floors in the next 2 weeks.

Since you started it...I figured I'd share this...I've found that applying Rain-X on the inside of my glass shower door keeps it clean for a longer period of time, because it makes the drops just slide down the door. It is a bit of work, because you have to apply it and then polish it off, but worth it.

here the local custom is to use newspapers for window washing -- cheap and so good you don't enen need to use the blue stuff (but it's even better if you do)!

I wondered about Rain-X. My honey thought it would make the shower slippery....any problems there? If not I will try it.

I only use the Rain-X on the inside of the glass shower door...not inside the shower on the walls or floor...I don't know if it would work as well on the tiles.
