12 weeks post hysterectomy: High blood pressure

hi ladies, I am 12 weeks post op and I'm having issues with my BP. My doc had me track it for 2 weeks and results are, I am now on BP meds. Could this be a result of my hysterectomy? Doc says no, but I have never had problems before. Does any one else have the same problem?

Re: High blood pressure

Mine actually went down, I am pretty happy about that. Still on pills, though.

Re: High blood pressure

Not sure if it is related to the surgery, however, medication can be avoided by changes to nutrition and excercice.
Did you have any change in your diet since surgery?

I haven't had any change in my diet but I could use some and I definitely need more exercise. Just can't seem to get motivated.

Re: High blood pressure

I still am not that motivated and it is just about a year now. It would have helped if the pain would have stopped sooner. Just stopped mostly last month.

Re: High blood pressure

Maybe the pain medication had something to do with it
