4 weeks 2 days post op

Hello All,

I have been pretty sick since Monday evening, yesterday I just couldn't take the constant headache any more and went to see my reg. doc. I have bronchitis and my head is full of pressure from I can't think of what you call it.
That's what has been causing constant headache, my chest has been hurting and I have been coughing like crazy. and have went through 2 big boxes of tissues already in 4 days.
This morning is the first morning since Tuesday that I have not woke up with a terrible headache.

Thursday I went to my 4 week post/op appt. I did find out that it was my right ovary and tube that was removed. I still have the stitches in me and he told me I still have a bit of recovery yet, because he had to do a lot in there, (I'm not sure that is the way he put it but that is what he meant.) He wants to see me again in 4 weeks to make sure all is healed.

I still can't lift anything to heavy, and he said I could do a little more but to still take it easy.
My hubby was in the room with me and at first my ob/gyn said it was okay to have whoopie now only to take it slow and easy, then within 2 minutes he said well, no better not, better go ahead and wait another 2 weeks, I joked with my hubby, oh I bet you really had your hopes up for about 60 seconds huh?

And the pathology reports showed everything was ok.

Sorry you are dealing with the crud on top of all of this. It seems to be a common post op problem.

I'm really glad your path report was good. That has to be a huge relief!

Hopefully you will start getting over the crud and feel better. This recovery business is a long road, added hills and valleys certainly don't help. Hang in there, it will all be over soon.
