Surgery Related? Or Something else?

I had abdominal hysterectomy just over a week ago and ever since I have had a slight numbness in my lips and tongue and there are bumps on my tongue. I also had a sore throat, I presume from the airway, but that is mostly gone. Also, I've had a terrible burning-sking-peeling yeast infection from all of the antibiotics. I dont think the mouth bumps are related to the yeast infection though because there is no white in my mouth.

Anyone else experience this and know if it just a side effect of surgery or should I see my dr?

I don't know if this is a side effect of surgery or not but, yes, I would call the doctor for your own peace of mind. Perhaps you won't need to go in for a visit but at least they can advise you over the phone. Hope the yeast infection is clearing up.

Surgery Related? Or Something else?

I had almost the same thing after my surgery. My bottom lip was numb and I had bumps around the edge of my tongue. It lasted about a week and cleared on its own. We are all different though so call your Dr if it concerns you.
Hope your feeling better soon.
